Justin and Mary Louise fell in love with Oklahoma in 2018 when they moved here with their family. They quickly became active members of their church and community. Justin, a little league baseball coach, also dedicates himself to local non-profits. Mary Louise volunteers tirelessly at church and community events, while their nine children stay busy with baseball, cross country, and volunteer activities.

Shortly after settling in, Justin began suffering from back pain. Having already undergone one back surgery, he feared another was inevitable. During a doctor’s visit, Dr. Braly reassured him that surgery wasn’t necessary but recommended physical therapy and a new mattress. He explained how the 1/3 of life spent in bed directly impacts the rest of our days. Embarrassed, Justin admitted he slept on an old, cheap mattress and spent his evenings in a worn-out recliner.

Desperate for relief, Justin and Mary Louise purchased a new mattress late one night, with a newborn in their arms. They faced limited options—costly national chains or low-quality discount stores. While the mattress offered temporary comfort, it didn’t last. After just four years, the top-tier mattress was sagging, and Justin was back to feeling unrested. It became clear he needed a solution tailored to his needs.

Around this time, Justin and Mary Louise noticed many of their missionary friends starting mattress stores. Inspired by their success, they saw an opportunity to offer their community something better: affordable, high-quality mattresses and a personalized experience. And so,Factory Direct Mattress - Edmond was born.
